NHS 111

From 4th February 2014 a new advice service for patients has been introduced for Cornwall. NHS 111 has been extended to include Cornish GP practices and offers access to trained staff who can provide medical advice and support for patients. This replaces the old NHS Direct service.

Calls to NHS 111 are free from both landlines and mobile phones with a contract. (Pay as you go mobiles do have to have at least 1p credit to get through to NHS 111).

NHS 111 will also provide an out-of-hours answering service when the surgery is closed - if you need to see a Doctor outside our normal opening times, please call NHS 111 (111) and your case will be assessed and an appointment / visit arranged as necessary.

If you have life threatening medical emergency please dial 999.
