Please bring or send the counterfoil to the Surgery TWO FULL WORKING DAYS (Monday – Friday) before the prescription is needed stating clearly which items are required.
Repeat prescriptions will be accepted over the telephone during set times each day - please call between 10.30am - 11.30am or 3.30pm to 4.30pm each day. You can also order on-line via this website address, or fax requests to 01208 78694.
Practice policy is to prescribe 28 days medication on all repeat drugs.
Medication which has not been set up by your GP as a repeat item, (Acute medication), will have to be authorised each time by your GP. You will be asked to telephone for confirmation that the Doctor will leave the prescription or if you have to be seen. This may take longer than 48 hours.
For patients who live more than 1 mile from a chemist, the practice has a dispensary for medication, and can dispense all medications and appliances. Please speak to our dispensary staff, if you would like any advice or information regarding this service.

If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
